Blasphemina - NOM

It's been kinda quiet :)

So what has everyone been up to? Apatico, Scoundrelle and I just finished with a show here in Minneapolis called Bacchanalia! It was amazing! As soon as I get pics, I'll post them. We also did a show in NY at Dances of Vice. Megan Maude was there too! That I do have some pics of:

I hae a show coming up in June where I'll be doing swimwear that is a mix of 1930-50's pinup swimsuits meet lolita :) I'm excited to experiment.

So anyway, that's what I've got going on. What about all of you? New projects, ventures, shows, conventions, etc?

Im not very good at introduction! Anyway Hi hi My name is Stephanie, i have been sewing for almost 10 years i started with cosplay first an then gradually into fashion mainly lolita and other japanese street fashion. I learn my sewing skills from my mom cause she was also a seamstress. I have been into lolita fashion for about 8 years now. I have my own line called lilhevn .
As for my personal style i  turn more towards Gothic Lolita, Dandy, Kadona, EGA, Steam punk style Darker color suite me better . Everytime i go out im always in one of these style plus i recently started a jewelry line which i hope goes well. If you like to know or see more just visit my LJ.

my intro

hi everybody, i just joined.  my name is jordana and i live in chicago.  i'm not quite a lolita designer yet, but i'm considering starting a line tentatively named "enchanted forest".  since most of the dress ideas i have are more personal than marketable, and my garment design/construction skills are not very advanced, i'll be starting with accessories (bags and hats mostly).  i'm also interested in going to grad school for fiber arts/textile design, and i'm considering making a small lolita collection for my portfolio to hopefully get me into a fancy art school :)

most of the little bit of experience i've had so far is based on the (non-lolita) accessories company i've had for a few years with my best friend.  for now we mainly sell at craft fairs and in a couple local shops since we both work full-time apart from it, but it has had some moderate success so far and we're happy keeping it small for now.  we're called qylaar; our site is here and our flickr is here.  i also used to work for a local fetish designer, so i had to help her with some of the non-design aspects of a small fashion business (marketing, sales, assisting at photoshoots and a fashion show).  actually, writing that out makes me feel like i'm more experienced than i thought, hehe.

introduction post

Hello there,

I'm new to this community and would like to introduce myself to you.

I am a fashion design student from Germany and got into Japanese fashion a few years ago. I got in touch with the lolita style and by now I own a lolita indies brand I design and sew for. Please feel free to browse through my website : www.magnifique-lolita.com

I hope to get in touch with many others designers, maybe even those who do lolita or punk fashion.
